Our Story

We’re just three guys who got tired of seeing flags taped to things.

Sohail spent 25 years as an electrician for the City of Los Angeles, and somewhere along the way he started noticing it everywhere — little flags duct-taped to toolboxes, fences, work trucks, anything people could stick them to. Khalid, his son, sees the same thing from a different angle: as an airline pilot, he’s been in more airports than he can count, and there’s always a mini flag taped to a counter, a cart, a gate desk, holding on for dear life with whatever tape was lying around. And Todd, Khalid’s father-in-law and the engineer of the group, had clocked the exact same thing in his own circles — flags taped to shelves, machines, doorframes, you name it.

The three of us started talking about it, and it turned out we’d all separately had the same thought: there’s clearly no good way to just stick a flag somewhere. So we decided to build one.

FlagPal holds onto anything metal with a strong hidden magnet — no stand, no tape, no drilling. Just stick it on your truck, your fridge, your toolbox, wherever, and it actually stays.

We design and build them right here in the USA, and honestly, we’re still a little surprised at how much we like doing this together. If you’ve got a FlagPal somewhere in your life right now, thanks for letting a small family business be part of your day.
